Yep, it’s that time of year again: NaNoWriMo time!!
It’s by far my favorite time of year, not only because I plan on actually participating this year, but also because I have so many NaNoWriMo activities going on (my NaNoWriMo Road Map workshop, then planning my own novel, etc.).
One major NaNoWriMo activity, which I’ve done three years in a row now, are my free NaNoWriMo Tips for Procrastinating Writers.
One thing that writers tend to do is procrastinate. I’m sure you already know that! But I think the main reason they do it during NaNo month is because they don’t have a plan (which is another reason why I run the workshop).
For those of you not in the workshop (or even for those that are), I’ve created these daily tips for you.
Here’s how it works: sign up for the email list, then from November 1 until November 30, you’ll receive a daily email that gives you guidance and support for writing and completing your 50,000-word novel during the 30 days.
Pretty simple.

And if not, that’s cool too. Good luck and Godspeed to you and your NaNoWriMo novel!

Looking forward to these tips! I’ve tried Nano several times, but always gave up a week or so into the month. The year, I am definitely participating and my goal is to finish the month, I don’t even really care if I hit the 50k mark, I just want to consistently write all month. That alone is worthy of winner status in my book!
I actually managed to do it last year. Good planning makes a huge difference. I don’t think I can handle it this year though, I might change my mind. The road was rough! I’ll take any help I can get!
